AIR2LAN Announces New Chief Executive

Jackson, MS, Aug. 25, 2004 -- AIR2LAN, a leading provider of broadband Internet access and end-to-end Internet services for corporate customers, announced today the appointment of Mark E. Rodgers as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Rodgers, former CEO of SmartSynch, Inc., a national provider of wireless SmartMeter systems for the electric utility industry, and former Vice President of Fixed-Wireless at Skytel Communications, brings a wealth of senior management experience to AIR2LAN, from strategy and financing to technology development, distribution and product marketing.
