Inc. Files Registration Statement with the SEC for an Initial Public
Offering
Birmingham, AL, November 19, 2004 – Emageon
Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement
with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial
public offering of its common stock. All shares to be included in
the offering will be sold by the company.
Emageon provides an enterprise-level information technology solution
for the clinical analysis and management of digital medical images
within health care provider organizations.
Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC and Piper Jaffray & Co. are the
joint book-running managers of the underwriting group. Raymond James
& Associates, Inc. and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co.,
Inc. are co-managers.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed
with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become
