Atherotech Taps Healthcare Sales Veteran to Lead Sales and Marketing Team

Company Names Kevin Anders as Vice President, Sales and Marketing

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Mar. 29, 2007 — Atherotech, Inc., a pioneer in cardiodiagnostic cholesterol testing technology, today bolstered its leadership team by naming Kevin Anders as vice president of sales and marketing. Anders joins the company from LabCorp where he most recently served as a regional business development executive. Reporting to Atherotech’s CEO, David Schreiber, Anders will lead the company’s sales, marketing and client service functions, and accelerate its growth into new market areas.

Anders brings more than two decades of healthcare sales experience to Atherotech. Most recently at LabCorp, he forged complex strategic alliances with hospitals, pathology groups and physician laboratories. His efforts consistently generated extraordinary sales results. Before LabCorp, Anders spent eight years at Quest Diagnostics in a series of increasingly responsible sales positions. He ended his tenure there as regional sales service manager with responsibility for over $100 million in revenue.
