Celerity Systems Selects Nextek
To Build Advanced Digital Set Top Boxes KNOXVILLE, TN (December 11, 2000) -- Celerity Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: CLRT) today announced that they have entered into an agreement with Nextek, Inc. of Madison, Alabama, to build the Rev 4 and Rev 5 versions of its leading edge T 6000 Digital Set Top Box, and potentially later versions as well. Celerity had previously been working with a Taiwan based firm on these two versions of the T 6000. "We are very pleased to be working with Nextek on the T 6000, our most important product," said Kenneth Van Meter, President and CEO of Celerity. "Not only do they have some of the most advanced production equipment and systems in the world, we have been impressed by the caliber and commitment of everyone we have met there. We are confident that their quality assurance laboratory facilities and methods will ensure that our products are produced at the highest levels of reliability, quality, and functionality. We are working with them now to get the first 2000 units built as quickly as possible, and then to be in volume production shortly thereafter."
