Bloodhound Strengthens Clinical
Team with Addition of Three Medical Directors
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC (June 20, 2001) - Bloodhound,
Inc., an application service provider focused on medical bill overpayment
protection services for insurers, TPAs, HMOs, IPAs and other at-risk
medical payment organizations, today announced that it has strengthened
its clinical team with the addition of three medical directors. The
physicians joining Bloodhound's team are Edwin J. Dasso, MD, Dwight
L. Robertson, MD, and George A. Goldberg, MD.

with the addition of three physicians to our team," said Bill

Bloodhound is pleased to welcome:
• Edwin J. Dasso, MD, a physician executive with diverse healthcare
management experience who will support Bloodhound's group health service
line. Dr. Dasso was most recently affiliated with Accordant Health
Services as Medical Director for Clinical Informatics. In addition
to private clinical practice, he has held senior management positions
with Aetna, Humana, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Dr. Dasso received
his medical degree from the University of Texas and continued his
education at Ohio State University and Baylor College of Medicine.
Dasso also attended the Executive Program of Medical Management at
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
• Dwight L. Robertson, MD, will support Bloodhound's Workers'
Compensation service line. Dr. Robertson also brings a high level
of healthcare management experience to Bloodhound, having served in
executive positions with Fund Recovery Specialists, American International
Group (AIG), InteCardia, U.S. Healthworks, Zenith Insurance Company,
and Travelers Health Company. Dr. Robertson received his medical degree
from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his residency
at the Medical University of South Carolina. Additionally, Dr. Robertson
holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the Duke Institute of
Policy Science and Public Affairs.
• George A. Goldberg, MD, joins Bloodhound as a Clinical Rules
Technical Expert. In addition to senior level management experience
with Protocare Sciences and Health Payment Review, Inc., Dr. Goldberg
has worked in a consultative role with Aetna-US Healthcare, the American
Medical Association, the Rand Corporation, and the State of California.
Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School,
completed his internship at Beth Israel Hospital (Boston) and his
residency at University of California, San Francisco.
