Team With Two Senior Level Appointments
Research Triangle Park, TN (July 11, 2001) -- Bloodhound,
Inc., an application service provider focused on medical bill overpayment
protection for insurers, TPAs, HMOs, IPAs and other at-risk medical

John Mitchell will serve as Vice President of Property & Casualty

John has over 12 years of experience selling managed healthcare products

services, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Prior to this, John served as Vice President of Sales for Preferred
Health Management and as Director of Sales for Prescription Management
Services, Inc. (PMSI). Mr. Mitchell holds a BS degree from Jacksonville
University.
"The addition of a Property & Casualty component, focusing
on Workers' Compensation and auto medical bills, is a natural evolution
for our ClaimsGuard service and for our company,'' said Chastain.
"After only four months of discussion with potential clients
in this industry, Bloodhound now has over $1 billion in annual paid
medical in demonstration projects. This speaks highly of the applicability
of our service in this arena, and we look forward to John's leadership
in this important facet of our business.''
Bloodhound is also pleased to announce that Keith Zalewski has joined
the company from iMcKesson and will serve in the role of Vice President
of Operations. Keith has over 17 years of experience in software development
and over 11 years in the pharmacy claims processing environment. As
a VP of Pharmacy Applications of the Prospective Health Products Division
at McKesson HBOC, he directed the effort of all technical development,
quality assurance, business analysis, documentation, testing, training,
implementation and client service. Mr. Zalewski holds a BS of Computer
Science and MBA from Cleveland State University.
"The addition of Keith to our senior management team from a major
technology player in the medical claims national marketplace adds
a critical component of operational and service knowledge and expertise
that is on target as we grow in the Group Health and Property and
Casualty marketplace,'' said Chastain. "We are confident that
our combination of a skilled team of professionals and our cutting
edge technology will greatly increase Bloodhound's profile and ensure
our future success.''
Bloodhound's ClaimsGuard Overpayment Protection Service helps medical
bill payors achieve incremental savings after complete medical bill
adjudication and repricing, but prior to explanation of benefits and
payment disbursement. Bloodhound's actual historical incremental savings
to date have ranged from 2% - 10% of approved medical claims processed
through ClaimsGuard. Because Bloodhound offers these services as an
ASP, the company is able to provide clients with seamless access to
software-based services and eliminate the complexities and costs of
system installation and operation.
