Joel Wood as Principal
Delta Adds Investment Banking Veteran, Bolstering Investment and
Business Development Capabilities
MEMPHIS, TN (October 27, 2003) -- Delta Capital
Management, LLC, a leading venture capital firm focused on investing
in the Southeast, today announced that Joel Wood has joined the
firm as Principal. Mr. Wood, most recently a Vice President in the
Investment Banking Group of RBC Capital Markets, brings a unique
combination of experiences to Delta, having worked with a wide range
of companies raising private equity both as a banker and investor.

About Mr. Wood
Mr. Wood, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, most recently served as
a Vice President in the medical technologies group of RBC Capital
Markets (formerly Dain Rauscher Wessels), focused on healthcare
information technology and medical device companies. Mr. Wood advised
numerous companies on financing and strategic initiatives including
private equity, public financings and M&A transactions. Prior
to RBC, Mr. Wood was a Vice President with Stephens Inc., where
he focused on technology and healthcare companies. Mr. Wood was
also with the investment banking group of Morgan Keegan and Company,
Inc., where he was a generalist. Mr. Wood began his career in finance
with the U.S. corporate group of Wachovia Bank, where he focused
on large corporate credit transactions.
Mr. Wood received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree with
High Honor from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A.
from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
