NICK POWELL

NICK POWELL

Nick is the Managing Partner of Delta Capital Myanmar and a Director of LMC. He has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking.

Nick joined LMC over 15 years ago and has been overseeing fundraising, deal sourcing, investing and exits in the public and private markets. He began his career with Jardine Matheson and then accumulated over 10 years of experience in Asian investment banking, with the corporate finance division of Nomura International and as an Asian Specialist in Institutional Sales and Corporate Broking at Robert Fleming.

Nick is a member of the Funds' Board of Directors.

DAVID VAN OPPEN

David is Delta Capital Myanmar's Chief Investment Officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in private equity across Asia. 

Prior to joining Delta Capital Myanmar, David was Managing Partner of General Enterprise Management Services (GEMS) in Hong Kong, Vice President of Lazard Asia Investment Management and he worked with Smith Barney on direct investments, IPOs and M&As. He holds an M.A. degree in International Economics from the John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Pomona College.

ALEXANDRA VANDERSCHELDEN

ALEXANDRA VANDERSCHELDEN

Alexandra is a Director at Delta Capital Myanmar. She has over 8 years of experience in private equity, equity research and business consulting.

Alexandra was previously Equity Research Associate at CLSA in Singapore. She started her career in Asia in 2010 when she worked for the EU Trade and Economic Section and a regional oil and gas consulting company. She graduated with honors from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management with a Masters degree in Business Engineering. 

Alexandra oversees Delta Capital Myanmar's environmental and social risk management.

RAY YEE LATT AYE

RAY YEE LATT AYE

Ray is a Director at Delta Capital Myanmar. He has more than 10 years of experience in business development, corporate finance and corporate law.

Ray was previously with Ashurst LLP and HRnet Group in Singapore, and UE Group in Myanmar. He graduated with honors from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics, from the Sydney Law School with Juris Doctor and from the University of Oxford with a Masters degree in Law and Finance.

Ray oversees Delta Capital Myanmar's governance and business integrity. 

LORRAINE ARTUR DE LA VILLARMOIS

Lorraine is Delta Capital Myanmar's Legal and ESG Associate. She has over 6 years of experience as a corporate lawyer.

Prior to joining Delta Capital Myanmar, Lorraine founded a legal translation company in Hanoi. Previously she accumulated experience in M&A and corporate governance at Bollore Africa Logistics and Herbert Smith Freehills. She graduated with a Master in Tax and business law from Paris I Sorbonne University and a Major in Tax and Legal Strategy from HEC Business School.

Minn Htet is a Senior Associate at Delta Capital Myanmar. He has over 3 years of experience in private equity.

Prior to joining Delta Capital Myanmar, Minn Htet worked for Proximity Designs, a leading Myanmar social enterprise. Minn Htet graduated with honors from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.

HSU MYAT THAZIN

HSU MYAT THAZIN

Hsu Myat is an analyst at Delta Capital Myanmar.

She has prior experience in marketing and e-commerce in Myanmar and Singapore. Hsu Myat graduated from the National University of Singapore.

 

KYAW ZIN LATT

Kyaw is an Analyst at Delta Capital Myanmar. He has over 2 years of experience as analyst and manager of operating companies in Myanmar.  

Prior to joining Delta Capital Myanmar, Kyaw was with Proximity Finance, a leading Myanmar microfinance institution, and Wave Money, the largest mobile money operator in Myanmar. Kyaw graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Carleton College.

NAN YAMIN SHWE SIN

Nan is Delta Capital Myanmar's Executive Assistant and Office Manager. She has over 5 years of experience with various Myanmar companies.

Prior to joining Delta Capital Myanmar, Nan worked as Executive Assistant for Myanmar Citizens Bank, MPRL and Loi Hein Group of Companies. She graduated with a Master in Business Administration from Help University in Malaysia.

Nick has over 15 years of direct investment experience. Prior to LMC he spent over 10 years with Jardine Matheson, Robert Fleming and Nomura.

Melvyn is the CEO of Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd., a diversified Myanmar business conglomerate listed on the main board of the Singapore Stock Exchange. He was previously the CEO of SPA. Prior to joining SPA he spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where he was managing director, head of Asia Ex-Japan Corporate Solutions Group. Melvyn has extensive financial and corporate experience in various markets across Asia such as Greater China and Southeast Asia. He was educated in the UK and graduated with honors from Cambridge University with a Bachelor of Arts, Masters of Engineering and Masters of Arts.

HAMILTON TANG

HAMILTON TANG

Hamilton is the Managing Director of CDIB Capital. He has over 20 years of experience in direct investment, investment banking and general management. Prior to joining CDIB Capital, Hamilton was the CEO of LMC since 2000, and before that he was the co-CEO of a media company that provided family amusement content and activities throughout Asia. Hamilton started his finance career in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley and left as vice president in 1996. He received his JD-MBA from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School in 1991 and his undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 1985.

U TUN TUN

U Tun Tun is the COO of First Myanmar Investment Co. Ltd. (FMI), the first public company listed on the Yangon Stock Exchange. He joined SPA in 1998 and over the years he has held various positions with the group of companies, including in corporate secretarial, legal, accounting, finance, stock exchange listing, operation management, corporate development and investment management. U Tun Tun has been an executive director of FMI since 2009 and also holds directorships in many of the group’s companies and joint ventures. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (UK).
